Do you relate to any of this?

Sometimes it's hard to put a name to what you feel. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Therapy in Spanish, your way

How it works

  1. Sign up or ask us to call you

Create your request on our platform in a few minutes. If you'd rather talk to someone, ask us to call you.

  2. Tell us about yourself

Tell us which state you live in, which language you want to speak and what you'd like support with.

  3. Talk to your therapist

We match you with a therapist licensed in your state who speaks your language, and you start your sessions.

How it works

Why a US license matters

A US-licensed therapist is authorized by the state where you live to provide therapy, not just support or advice. They meet that state's professional and ethical requirements and answer to its licensing board. As part of your therapy, they can also issue an attendance letter if you need one. Just let us know when you start therapy. You can check your therapist's license on your state licensing board's official website.

About us

Frequently asked questions

How do sessions work?

Your sessions are virtual, 45 minutes with your therapist and in Spanish. All you need is a place where you can talk privately.

Do I need health insurance?

No. At dafne you pay directly, without health insurance. You can choose a single session or a package of sessions, so you don't depend on approvals, copays or deductibles to start therapy.

Why does my state matter?

Each US state issues its own licenses for therapists. Your therapist must be licensed in the state where you are during the session. That's why we ask where you live and match you with someone licensed there.

Does my therapist speak Spanish?

Yes. We match you with a therapist who speaks your language, so you can express yourself naturally without translating how you feel. All our Spanish sessions are with therapists who speak Spanish fluently.

Do you see minors?

No. dafne offers individual therapy for adults (18+) only. If you're looking for support for a minor, we recommend speaking with their doctor or your local mental health services.

Can you give me an attendance letter?

Yes. If you need one, your therapist can issue a letter confirming your session dates and attendance, as part of your therapy. We ask whether you'll need one when you sign up. Learn more about the therapy attendance letter.
